Legislative Services

Whether it's testifying before legislative committees or hosting local town meetings, the members and staff of the Telecommunications Association of Michigan believe participation in the legislative process is part of their civic duty. That's why we have established comprehensive legislative and political advocacy programs for our members. Our goal is to provide elected officials and candidates for public office with accurate information about Michigan's telecommunications industry.

Association members and staff have been key players in state and federal efforts to revise telecommunications policy. While our main focus is on telecommunications policy, we get involved in every issue that impacts our members, from criminal justice laws to taxes. We also help elected officials answer constituent questions by quickly identifying individuals who have the expertise to provide the information being sought.
